Client Profiles

Trina Fisher loves cats and is happy to give updates about “Smoky,” the cat she shares with her roommates at the 83rd Ave residence. According to Trina, Smoky has many interesting adventures and from the sound of it, has found himself a very good home. Trina also cares for Morris, the New Generations store cat, hugging him often throughout the day.

Trina works at several jobs, including Canadian Canine, where she gets another chance to work with pets. She does cleaning at the Association office, dropping by with her latest news as she works her way through the rooms.

Staff at Trina’s group home say that Trina also loves children and volunteers regularly at Grande Prairie’s Pregnant Teen program.

Trina loves to tell stories and has many interests to fill her leisure time. She takes ceramics classes and also loves to paint. Trina attends the Lion’s Learning Centre and says that if she had completed her education, she thinks she would like to have been a nurse or a school teacher.
